Lani France, 84, died Saturday at a local care center. Feb 20, 2001
She was born Nov. 15, 1916, in Stuberg, Ontario. A retired waitress in a hotel-casino, she was a 35-year resident of Las Vegas and a member of the Culinary union. She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Maranda of Las Vegas; sisters, Anita Rollens of Granada Hills, Calif., Elsie Bracknies of Las Vegas and Kay Cox of Chicago; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Palm Mortuary-Eastern, where services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday. Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Memorial Park. |
