PALMER, Leslie Walter (Les) 81 years, April 6, 2005. Dearest father of George and his wife Lorna, Keith, Greg and his wife Jose and Joel, all of Windsor and Ruth Pitman and her husband Henry of Dubuque, Iowa. Twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Dear brother of Frank Palmer, Helen Palmer, Stan Palmer and Joan Wilson. Predeceased by 2 brothers Bob and Ken. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Les was a longtime employee of Wyeth Pharmaceutical and an active member of Turner Road Chapel. Visitation will be held from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, April 8th at the Janisse - Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave. (253-5225). Mr. Palmer will rest at Turner Road Chapel, 2100 Turner Rd. from 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9th, until the time of service at 11 a.m. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Gideon Bible Society. A tree will be planted in memory of Leslie Palmer in the Janisse - Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome. Published in the Windsor Star on 4/7/2005.
