Dutch emigration

Sculptor; Gerard Janssen fled the Spanish Inquisition, in 1567 England. He and his sons were great monument carvers.
By the end of the 17th century, roughly 200,000 Huguenots had been driven from France during a series of religious persecutions. Assimilation altered their names.
