Passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 53 years.
Dear father of Kevin, Christopher, Michael and Amanda. Marijan will be missed by 3 grandchildren. Dear brother of Dona Brikch (Tom), Andy Briski (Lucy), Rudy Briski (Maria), Joe Briski, Drago Briski (Branka), Edward Briski (Ivanka), Nick Briski (Maria) all of Kitchener, and Maria Ivancic (Tom) of Hamilton. Marijan will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Joseph (1981) and Stephanie Briski (1986). Marijans family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 PM Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 PM Sunday at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 749-8467. Parish prayers 8 PM Sunday evening. Prayers will be offered in the funeral home chapel at 9:20 AM on Monday, January 31, 2005 followed by procession to Holy Family Croatian Church (180 Schweitzer St., Kitchener) for funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Fr. Miro Grubisic officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
