Personal Notes:

87 years. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2013. Beloved husband of 65 years of Shirley (nee Hayes). Loving father of Loreen Martin (Bob), Rick Farrer (Connie) and Janice Busch (Brian). Dear grandfather of Brent, Christopher, Elizabeth, Drew, David, Nicholas, Lexie, Andrew and Sadie. Predeceased by his sisters Geraldine, Viola and Mildred and his brothers Lance and Henry. Lorne enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army after finishing high school and served until WWII ended. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and was given an award for 28 consecutive accident- free years of driving. He was "the bestest in the westest." Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. with a Memorial Service under the auspices of the WVMSC will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Anderson Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 11 :00 a.m. Interment Victoria Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorial donations made to the Windsor & Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
