Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Saturday, January 29, 2005 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital.
Ljubica (Cobovic) Briski in her 71st year was the beloved wife of Andrija (Andy) Briski for 45 years. Loving mother to Mario and Andy Briski Jr.. Dear grandmother of Katie and Teresa. Dear sister of Stefica Brekalo of Waterloo, Ivanka Geldner of Germany and their families. Ljubica will also be missed by many relatives in Croatia. Ljubicas family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 PM Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 PM Tuesday at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 749-8467. Parish prayers 8:00 PM Tuesday evening. Prayers will be offered in the funeral home chapel at 10:20 AM Wednesday, February 2, 2005 followed by procession to Holy Family Croatian Church (Schweitzer St.) for funeral mass at 11 AM. Father Miro Grubisic officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to Caritas would be appreciated by the family |
