DUFOUR, J. Russell July 19, 1924 - Dec. 20, 2004 It is with great sadness we announce the death of our great "Pa" after a courageous battle with leukemia. Beloved and devoted husband of 54 years to Patricia (nee O'Brien. Treasured father of Susan and husband Tom Richard, Deborah and husband Russell Vollans, John Dufour and Barry Adam, Kevin and wife Therese Dufour, Denise and husband Ernest Phaneuf and Crystal Dufour. Loving grandfather of Tom, Chris and Jim Richard, Theresa Cullen, Kevin, Tara, Dan Dufour, Michael Vollans and Shannon and Craig Phaneuf, and 7 great grandchildren Bryanna, Dillon, Morgan, William, Amy, Steven, and Allyson. Predeceased by his parents Albert & Artamese (Renaud). Dear brother of Harriet Beaudoin, Nellie Dupuis, Clarisse Wright, John Dufour, Vida Reaume, Alice Berthiaume, Roy, Sam, Alfred & Edward Dufour. Predeceased by his brothers Orville, Wilfred, Wallace, Orval and his sister Mabel Helfrich. Mr. Dufour was a former employee of Wonder Bread, Borden's Dairy and Dempster Bakery. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 23, 2004 at 10:15 a.m. from Janisse BrosMarcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette (253-5225) to Blessed Sacrament Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment Heavenly Rest cemetery. A tree will be planted in memory of Joseph Dufour in the Janisse BrosMarcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
