CHILDREN Born out of wedlock. 1. Johannes ( During the entry of his birth in the municipal registry the name was wrongly spelled as MOLENAAR. This was changed to MOOLENAAR by deed poll in order for him to enter the Royal Dutch Navy. Born Amsterdam 24-2-1860. Refer VIII u

VIIIu Johannes Moolenaar ( during registration of the birth, the name was wrongly spelt as MOLENAAR. (This was rectified by deed-poll 3-8-1874 in order to enlist in the Royal Navy), born 24-2-1860 in Amsterdam, enlisted in the navy at age 14 on 18-8-1874 and was in order “ boy, sailor 3rd class, 2nd and 1st class and became cannonnier 1st class. Was involved in an industrial accident and received early retirement 1-4-1896, died Amsterdam 26-2-1933, marries, Den Helder 7-11-1889, Trijntje SWART, daughter of Klaas SWART and Johanna VISSER.
