Personal Notes: |
After the wedding they lived in Brunssum, where their first 2 sons were born. They moved to Rotterdam where the remaining children were born. In 1933 the PTT transferred/promoted Frits to Amsterdam. During the Second World War occupation by the Germans, food was rationed. The family was hungry enough to have eaten cat. "None knew until after the meal. I guess that is why my oldest brother Louie did not eat."..Harry. |
